Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum Tour

See the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts on display in western North America!

The Oriental Institute is located on the campus of the University of Chicago and is renowned for interdisciplinary research of ancient civilizations. But did you know that we have the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum in San Jose? It contains the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts on display in western North America. This is the only museum in the United States of authentic Egyptian design that houses a fascinating collection of over 3,000 objects and ritual items.

Join fellow UChicago alumni, family, and friends on a docent guided tour, where you will explore fascinating exhibits, marvel at the preservation of mummies, descend into a full-scale underground rock tomb with hieroglyphics painted on the walls, and wander about the extensive grounds and gardens.

Following the museum visit, enjoy a self-host delicious lunch at the Park Station Hashery, located across the street from the museum. Free ample parking is available at the museum.

Please register by June 3, 2019.
