Bay Area Harper Lecture: UChicago Sciences: From Inquiry to Impact

For more than 125 years, the scientific breakthroughs made by researchers at the University of Chicago have transformed our world.

University researchers have been responsible for foundational discoveries, including innovations that drive economic growth and technologies that change how we understand the universe. Today, researchers at the University and affiliated laboratories cross disciplines and continents to develop solutions to some of the world’s most pressing problems. In this lecture, Eric D. Isaacs will show how the University’s scientific legacy and distinctive approach to inquiry continue to empower our researchers to develop new fields, improve human health, and ultimately transform our world.
